Among many other places we visited during the May holidays was Greenwich. We got there by boat and had a nice walk around. This sketch is from a top of a hill, above the prominent Greenwich meridian:
I was in the East London the other day and decided to use the occasion to draw a bit. Not being very familiar with the neighbourhood, I wandered in circles until I hit this church with a nice garden and benches around it.
There was an Old Man in a pew,
Whose waistcoat was spotted with blue;
But he tore it in pieces,
To give to his nieces,--
That cheerful Old Man in a pew.
